Hi. My name is Anthem Salgado. I live in San Francisco and hail originally from New York. I work as a Business Coach, providing valuable outside perspective to a wide array of entrepreneurs and organizations.
SOME Of my BACKGROUND
When I’m not leading workshops, providing guidance to my clients, or crafting blog content, I enjoy the simple things. Fun with family and friends. Enjoying the company of my wife and our two dogs. And putting in mat time as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu hobbyist.
I have had a long career as an arts professional: a multidisciplinary creator and arts administrator. Painter and poet. Memoirist and teaching artist. Stage and screen actor. Program Manager and Director of Communications. I loved it. I had no intention of switching sectors but the 2008 recession had other plans for me. I was gifted with a tough (and toughening) stretch of unemployment and a lot of time to meditate on the deficits in my toolkit. I was left to wonder, How did this happen to me and what skills must I develop to make sure it doesn’t happen again?
It was a bit like the kung fu movies of old wherein a peasant fighter is served a defeat, then holes up in a cave to learn from monks, and re-emerges an entirely new warrior. I’d taken all my experiences as a storyteller, as an out-of-the-box thinker and doer, and as a cultural worker to conjure a business entirely from scratch that would continue to reflect my community values in combination with my major findings for career longevity.
THE heart of my PHILOSOPHY
What I developed is a system of true best practices. Emphasis on “true” because what I teach applies across the board, irrespective of business type, budget depth, or staff size. Timeless. Universal. Core. Yet unfortunately, it's everything that is primarily absent from most education programs. It's everything I wish I'd known a lifetime ago. I might have spared myself a lot of unnecessary hardship. It is now my aim to save you from some of those same trials.
How has it panned out? Just take a look at the professionals that seek me out. They represent a broad spectrum of expertise: Acupuncturist, Chiropractor, Dance Instructor, Event Planner, Financial Planner, Fitness Trainer, Marketing & Public Relations Specialist, Mortgage Lender, Pilates Trainer, Relationship Coach, Software Developer, and Theater Professional.
Their results? People are moving with more clarity and intention. Individuals are keeping their enterprises in full alignment with their ethics. Industry leaders are now making more money and time. Through the processes I champion, clients have launched modest start-ups and negotiate lucrative contracts right out of the gate using the very techniques we have practiced. One client has shared with me that she was able to free an entire day from the work week using the protocols we instituted -- and still triple revenue. Yet another was able to quadruple sales simply by changing the way she talked about her services, more finely articulating her worth in the marketplace. Still another strategized ways to grow audience and catch notice on the national map, having since made appearances on both coasts of the United States.
This is it. Right here. Pushing to meet your potential. Generating tangible and positive outcomes. Remaining well-rounded. Maintaining a balanced life. Upholding the tenets of health, wealth, and knowledge of self.
